Driverless trains: Will technology replace the human touch?

It is planned that by 2021 driverless trains will be active on the London tube system, following on from the prospect of passengers paying for their fares using their bank card rather than the Oyster card (read our blog about contactless technology), are we in danger of too much technology taking over our day to day commute and removing the human touch?
