UK Government to sneak in Broadband Tax
October 29th, 2009 by Barry PotierThe UK Government desperate to find revenue in an ailing economy are now proposing a 50p per month tax on broadband usage which will be via fixed phone lines. This proposal is currently under legislative review and has been proposed by the Labour Party, however it seems pretty sure that the proposed new tax would be scrapped if and when the a new Conservative government come into power next year.
