This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK's leading utilities contractors as Design Engineer who will perform a technical/managerial role on one of the highest profile projects in the UK.

As Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the day to day management of an on site design team comprising of Draughtsman and external Designers. In addition you will oversee the compilation and submission of multiple design packs to the client and management of design submittals to ensure programme targets are met. You will also manage and respond to client instructions through appropriate contract tools and manage stakeholders both internally and externally that affect the effective delivery of the scheme.

You will be a specialist with proven management and contracting skills in a design and consulting environment with considerable experience of design solutions in the utility sector. You will have both AutoCAD and Microstation experience and will be technically conversant with all relevant industry standards, specifications and practices.

If you hold a recognised qualification within a relevant field of expertise, preferably at honours degree level, with strong planning skills we would like to talk to you.
