Due to expansion and increased focus on developing sustainability services, this well known consultancy has an excellent opportunity for an Environmental Consultant (Sustainability) to play a key role in service development working within their sustainability team.
The Environmental Consultant (Sustainability) will help develop and deliver sustainability services focusing on providing practical, project-focused advice and assessments on improving the sustainability of buildings and development (covering such impacts as carbon emissions, energy efficiency, waste and recycled content, etc), and with a particular focus on the cost and economic implications of these impacts. You'll take responsibility for associated research, analysis and, where appropriate, the development of new tools and capabilities to support such assessments.
The successful Environmental Consultant (Sustainability) will have substantial experience in construction, with a focus on advising on the environmental impact of construction and development with knowledge of sustainability, with a particular focus on the environmental impact of construction, government policy in relation to sustainability in the built environment, building services engineering technology; design strategies for environmentally benign buildings, evaluation tools (BREEAM, LEED, GB Tool, CEEQUAL, etc) and strategies.
If you will hold a first degree in a construction or environmental science discipline or a master's degree in environmental science or related discipline along with membership of a recognised professional institution (RICS/RIBA/ICE/CIBSE or equivalent) we would like to talk to you.
