Well-known major energy supplier has an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Manager to join their Overground (Power/Electrification) Engineering Team based in Central London.

As Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for assuring all aspects of engineering works are implemented in accordance with processes, procedures and Clients requirements for overland Electrification projects. You will also plan and manage the design, testing and commissioning activities for a group of projects.

Other key duties include ensuring Design Compliance of the installation (includes elements of all engineering disciplines) and ensuring that all designs are compliant with relevant requirements and appropriately approved. You will also implement a robust Testing and Commissioning Strategy, Plans and programmes to ensure the safe testing and commissioning of completed installations to achieve the necessary plant operation in accordance with the programme requirements.

To be considered for the role of Engineering Manager, you are experienced in the design and commissioning of AC and DC electrical infrastructure equipment with proven technical management abilities. You are also a Qualified Electrical Engineer with awareness of relevant Network Rail standards and an understanding of rail operations.

Knowledge of the requirements and implementation of CDM Regulations and Knowledge of safety, quality, and environmental issues relevant to the LUL environment and electrification infrastructure is also required.
