Major Energy Company has an outstanding opportunity for a talented Design Manager to join their Central Design Team based in Central London.

Your purpose as Design Manager will be to manage the design development for Tender Documentation in line with the Project requirements and you will manage the development of designs through project life cycle.

In addition, you will also prepare the required documents and procedures, their implementation and chair meetings with all relevant internal and external parties along with ensuring that the detailed design achieves desired functionality and performance. Further tasks include providing specialist engineering/design advice and ensuring that all design submissions have been properly reviewed by the relevant Contractors Responsible Engineers.

It is essential you have detailed understanding of DC and AC electrification system and will be a Professional Electrical Engineer with the proven ability to manage engineering staff If you also have knowledge of AC/DC line standards, have detailed understanding of Rail Industry operation and CDM with knowledge of safety, quality and environmental issues relevant to the railway environment we would like to talk to you.
