We have an immediate requirement for Design Engineers to work on Clean Water projects based in Warrington working with a well-established utilities services company.

Your responsibilities as Design Engineer will be to create accurate designs using AutoCAD to a high quality standard with an awareness of costs along with dealing with Health and Safety issues and CDM regulations.

You will also agree and determine the location of the Site Investigation - Trial holes / Sample cuts and survey routes to ascertain information which will affect the design and construction - private land, traffic sensitive street etc

Other duties include interpreting data from trial holes to confirm that the chosen method of Rehabilitation can be undertaken  along with liaising with Highways Authority, Fire Service, to obtain information on their needs and liaise with Utilities to obtain details of existing services.

It is essential you have are highly proficient in AutoCAD with proven experience of data systems and a good working knowledge of CDM regulations.  You also have the ability to contribute to technical reports and Solution Scope Books and will certainly hold a Driving licence.  You will have either clean water design experience or civil design experience.

On offer is a good hourly rate and an opportunity to join a thriving project for a minimum of 3 months with expected potential for extension.
