We have a superb opportunity for an Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) Operations Technican to join a company who specialises in the management of the water cycle on behalf of an industrial client based in North West Cornwall.

As a result in an expansion of client opportunities, they require a Plant Operator to work on an Effluent Treatment Plant (WWTP) and associated equipment. The plant operates 7 days per week  and receives wastewater generated from the processing of beer and requires treatment to a high standard.

To be considered you will almost certainly be a time served technician and will require operational and maintenance knowledge of water and waste water treatment plants and will ideally have had experience of working directly with sub-contractors.

You will have a working knowledge of water treatment electro-mechanical plant and will have the ability and knowledge to complete basic repairs and maintenance.  The ability to interpret advanced technical literature and engineering drawings to affect repairs of complex items of plant would be an advantage but is not essential
