Working with one of the largest engineering design companies in the world, we are looking to recruit the services of an experienced Civil Design Engineer to work within their Water Operations division from offices in Derby. The position will involve developing a programme of site investigations and condition assessment methodology for a water company’s distribution infrastructure assets.

To be considered for this Civil Design Engineer role, you should be able to demonstrate a proven background within the clean and wastewater environment, designing infrastructure (specifically large diameter water main systems) and have a sound knowledge of  condition assessment techniques.

You will ideally have experience of managing a design team and will have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, enabling the development of strong business relationships with internal line managers and external clients alike.

Educated to Degree or equivalent level in Civil Engineering, you should have recently achieved, or be approaching Chartered status.
