The largest engineering and design consultancy in the UK with a strong presence worldwide have an opening for a Senior Mechanical Engineer experienced in the Water industry to join them in Derby,
 
As Senior Mechanical Engineer you will be responsible for project management of medium to large projects along with control of budgets and project programmes under the supervision of the Team Leader. You will also extensively liaise with Clients both internal and external
 
To be successful you must be able demonstrate the following;
 
* A degree in Mechanical Engineering.
* Chartership with appropriate body or very close to achieving chartership.
* Extensive design experience within the Water Industry sector including potable water production and distribution, waste water treatment and sludge treatment
* Extensive experience of engineering, scoping and feasibility studies
* Extensive experience of outline and detailed mechanical design work within water and wastewater areas
* Detailed knowledge of general engineering design principles and practices
