A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Construction Manager to work on wind farm/offshore projects in Hamburg, Germany for one of the world’s largest investor-owned power and gas companies.  Our client plays a leading role in the development of the renewables industry worldwide and will invest billions of Euros in renewable generation projects over the next five years.

Reporting to the Logistics Package Manager, the primary focus of the role of Construction Manager is to deliver transport and installation solutions in relation to HSQE within time and budget.

Key Responsibilities

The Construction Manager will be responsible for the development of scour, WTG and foundation logistic concepts, specifications of risk assessments, method statements and operating instructions and the evaluation of deck layouts, sea fastenings and guide line concepts. 

You shall prepare the layouts for potential ports for storage and load outs and will manage the installation across the execution phase.  You shall ensure quality of work during WGT installation and foundation fabrication.

The successful Construction Manager will have at least five years experience in maritime/offshore sector/wind energy industry and relevant experience in WTG and foundation storage or sea fastening, transportation or offshore installation.

Also, experience with offshore piling and scour protection.  Sound knowledge of certification and Marine Warranty Surveyors.

Strong communication and IT skills are also essential to this role.
