Rail Personnel  are currently working in joint venture with Resourcing Solutions  and  have an exceptional opportunity for 3 UK-based Contracts Engineers experienced in Rail Industry to join Hong Kong's premier rail transit organisation MTR. As a diversified and dynamic company, the MTR corporation is involved in a wide range of business activities, including railway construction and operations, property development and management, additional commercial activities, investment projects and consultancy services worldwide.

As Contracts Engineer, you will assist in monitoring and coordinating the contract admnistration services for civil design and construction contracts relating to the new extension projects. You must have good knowledge of and experience in the preparation, invitiation, assessment, award and administration of various forms of contract, management of detailed cost control applications and assessment of civil variations and claims are essential

To be considered, you must be degree qualified and be a chartered engineer or quantity surveyor in civil discipline with substantial relevant experience. You'll also have good interpersonal and communication skills in spoken and written English with the ability to resolve issues to minimise the impact on project progress with regard to cost and programme as well as the willingness and ability to work under pressure are required. You will be stationed on site when the railway projects progress to the construction phase.

Ideally, you will come from a background in Claims assessment and are familiar with “phase 2 and Phase 3” of a project. If you also possess a solid understanding of claim assessments, negotiations and disputes of claims we would like to talk to you.

The successful Contracts Engineer will receive a world-class remuneration package including an exceptional salary along with benefits including relocation assistance. All interviews will be held in the UK and if required via video conference call with the end client.

Please note that the role is offered on a 2 year renewable contract.
