This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading power services company; they seek an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in Gloucestershire. The team you will be joining specialises in the design of flowmeters and their calibration.

With a minimum of a BSc in Mechanical Engineering, you will certainly be proficient in ProE or similar 3D CAD packages. You are most certainly an experienced user of SAP with some experience with finite element analysis.

You will have significant experience in the mechanical design of products and components and will ideally be experienced with the design of flowmeters and their calibration. Whilst other product experience may be suitable, it must include experience in the use of flange standards and a good  understanding of pressure vessels whilst knowledge of welding / weld design.

You may well have the opportunity to travel to mainland Europe to develop your experience and share ideas with colleagues there. Above all you will be a pragmatic individual who can look at concept ideas with common sense and practicality of application.
