Our client is a leading consultancy within the rail sector and they are looking for a Project Planner (office based) and a Project planner (site based) to work on their rail projects in Manchester.

They are requiring experienced planners with good site knowledge to manage the projects with the project managers. This is a program which includes system upgrades and four new lines to serve various communities in the Manchester area. You will be managing the contractors on site and will have to analyse and challenge the works and timescales, needing to be completed.

To apply for this Planner role you must have:
* Planning experience (On site or office based)
* P6 expertise
* Rail Knowledge
* Understanding of project engineering so you can help audit and manage the site
* The ability to manage and challenge the Main Contractors

There is an option of a fixed term contract or a long term contracting opportunity with a competitive day rate.
