A renowned international multi-disciplinary organisation that provide a range of services to rail, energy, power and engineering industries have an opportunity for a Planning Engineer to join them on major Electricity Alliance projects both in the South East and South West. The Planning Engineer will implement the planning and programming activities of projects to meet the objectives on time and within budget. Key responsibilities include developing cost plans and cash flows and reporting of plan against actual progress and forecasts to date.
As Planning Engineer you will give full input into change control and provide planning and schedule date input and monthly reporting. You will effectively communicate with the project team to resolve unforeseen planning issues and frequently update Cost Engineers for Cost Load purposes, as well as meeting with National Grid representatives and other external interested parties.
If you wish to be considered for this Planning Engineer role, you will need to possess the following:
* Degree qualified in relevant discipline preferred
* Substantial planning background
* Power / Utilities / OLE projects
* Primavera 6 planning tool
* Consultancy background
* Excellent communicator / presentation skills
