Urgently seeking a highly experience Railway Telecoms Systems Design Manager/Solutions Architect for a major railway telecommunications project bid in London. Although you will be based along the M4 Corridor. As Design Manager/Solutions Architect you will be a trusted advisor for the Project Bid on networks, services and operations evolution requirements and plans.

You will be responsible for specifying designs fo effective end to end solutions through the high level design architecture to meet the needs of the project. You will develop the full scope of the solutions for systems such as SCADA, SMS, CMS, Radio (Airewave, GSM-R, LFEPA, PCR,PMR), PA/VA, CIS, CCTV, telephony, Optical and IP/MPLS networks. You will manage a team of systems engineers, the design process and be the technical interface for a number of Contractors and Client organisations.

To be considered for this role you will have demonstrable experience of working in a similar role on major railway projects in the UK and expert knowledge in the systems above.

Initially you will be rewarded with a six month contract (with a view to extend following Contract award) in line and a rate consummate with your expertise as this is a key role within a bid team for this highly prestigious project.
