A leading UK Engineering Contractor has an outstanding opportunity for 2 knowledgeable Site Engineers to join their project teams engaged upon the upgrade of the Wastewater system in the South East area.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for controlling all engineering works including assisting with the planning and programming of works, accurate and timely setting out of a variety of structures and foundations.

Additionally, you will be accountable for resolving technical issues, reading and interpreting drawings, supervision and control of sub contract and direct labour, liaison with the clients representatives, production / review of method statements, RFI’s, upkeep of site diary, QA, As Built and Health and Safety, attending progress meetings and assisting in the production of progress reports.

Requirements:

It is envisaged that the successful candidate will be a minimum of HNC qualified in Civil Engineering with a proven track record of working on Wastewater Civil Engineering projects. You will be adept in the reading and interpretation of drawings, setting out, resolving technical issues, controlling and prioritising workload, supervising directly and indirectly employed staff, planning and programming of works, checking Quality and ensuring that the laid down systems and processes are adhered to.
