My client are a well-known construction main contractor, with significant Rail Civils and Infrastructure projects worldwide. They are seeking a Senior Estimator/ Estimating Team Leader, for Rail Civils and Infrastructure projects in the Qatar in the Middle East.

Requirements for the Senior Estimator/ Team Leader

DUE TO THE VOLUME OF APPLICATIONS, PLEASE DO NOT APPLY UNLESS YOU MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS

You MUST be degree qualified. Due to the nature of this project and visa issues, candidates without a degree cannot be considered. Understanding of Civil Engineering is also essential.

You MUST have significant experience of Estimating for very large projects within Rail Civil and Infrastructure dsicipline.

Significant understanding of the Civil and Infrastructure elements of Rail projects is essential

Experience of the following is a distinct advantage : civil works infrastructures (Dam, Bridges, Roads, Tunnels, Power plants, Stadium, SWTP)

Experience of Estimating for large scale projects is essential!

Role and Responsibilities for the Senior Estimator – Rail

This role is not for the feint hearted, the successful Senior Estimator / Team Leader will be responsible for overseeing scheduling and organising tender or price submission. As well as take off, enquries and direct costs establishment.

You will also be responsible for establishing a team, to ensure that agreed timelines for the project are adhered to.

SALARY

Circa £65,000- £75,000 GBP plus flights and accommodation, medical
