Our client works extensively within the extended water industry and has a large portfolio of products and services which delivers technical solutions and leading edge services for water treatment and management. They now require an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer to join the Engineering and Projects team based in Grangemouth.

As Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer, you will assist in the technical development of the team as well as providing the electrical and instrumentation engineering input into key projects. Your key responsibilities will include the assessment, design, verification and validation of electrical and instrumentation requirements for a range of projects on a complex operational site and the provision of specialist electrical advice to sub-contractors and Client discipline engineers.

Either chartered or working towards chartership, you would ideally have experience of water/wastewater projects. Your extensive electrical & instrumentation experience will include:

Process instrumentation and measurement techniques
Hazardous Area requirements and ATEX certification
Electrical and instrumentation circuit design
SIL ratings and safety circuits
DCS and ESD hardware wiring and configuration

You will have the ability to produce engineering specifications and diagrams in isolation whilst E&I site installation and commissioning work experience.

With the ability to work on number of projects simultaneously working to deadlines and budgets and have up to date knowledge of CDM requirements, Electricity at Work Act and BS7671
