A well known consultancy working within the UK Water Industry have an opportunity for a Senior Process Engineer/Process Engineer who is experienced in wastewater treatment to join them either in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Newcastle or Leeds.

You will be responsible for delivering the process design on a range of predominantly wastewater treatment work projects.  Reporting to the Project Manager, duties will include undertaking feasibility studies along with preparing documentation associated with the detailed design.

You will also liaise with suppliers, regulators, 3rd parties and other stakeholders and contribute to wider process issues through the process Technical Manager.

Other tasks include:
* Carry out the process design so as to ensure timely production of information
* To establish process design criteria and requirements for each project
* To prepare process calculations, process flow diagrams and mass balances as required.
* To support the preparation of P and I diagrams in association with Mechanical and Electrical Engineers.
* Liaison with Client, Project Managers, Civil, Mechanical and Electrical Engineers
* To assist with development of the water sector market in industrial services
* To maintain up to date knowledge of technical developments in water and wastewater treatment processes

The successful Senior Process Engineer/Process Engineer must be qualified to degree level in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology or related subject and will possess significant experience of working within a design department of a water and waste water treatment consultancy

You also possess site and commissioning experience with familiarity with equipment and processes used in the water industry. You will possess thorough knowledge of water and waste water treatment processes and familiarity with environmental regulations
