One of the leading engineering design consultancies are as a result in growth opportunities looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer with a broad-ranging background in the Water industry to join South West team and can be located in Exeter or Bristol.

Whilst they are looking for a background in the Water Industry, they are very proactive in offering development opportunities within other sectors.

You must have a degree in Mechanical Engineering and must be Chartered (or working towards) with the IMechE or alternative appropriate body. To be considered you must be able to fulfil both of these requirements. You will be computer literate and able to work effectively work with the basic Microsoft suit of programmes as a minimum.

You will possess extensive design experience within the Water Industry sector including in areas such as potable water production and distribution, waste water treatment and sludge treatment, pumping systems and non-infrastructure asset management to name but a few.  

Additionally you will have knowledge of current UK water industry regulations and have some appreciation of the project management and commercial requirements associated with an engineering consultancy
