As a result of ongoing growth, we are seeking an Assistant Electrical Engineer for a role based in Bristol within an engineering consultancy who work extensively within the Water and Wastewater Industry.

You will be supporting a Senior Electrical Engineer on a suite of outline design projects for clients and this role will offer scope for a varied range of projects through liaison with the rest of the company following this work.

With a degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant alternative at least, you will be able to provide evidence of an ongoing programme of Continuing Professional Development and potentially already be some way to achieving chartership.

You will already have some design experience within the Water Industry sector including in areas such as potable water production and distribution, waste water treatment and sludge treatment, pumping systems and non-infrastructure asset management.

Specific duties will include
Feasibility, outline and detailed electrical design work, general engineering design, site visits and data collection as well as assisting with delivering design and general engineering projects
You would be expected to prepare  such as Control philosophies, Electrical Work Packages, Plant/equipment schedules, e.g. load schedules, IO schedules, instrument schedules, power/ICA cable schedules, P and ID’s, Amtech calculations, Lighting risk assessments etc.
