We currently have a great opportunity for a HV Service Manager to join a major globally recognised company. The HV Service manager will report directly to the Operations manager and will based in the Midlands and cover the entire UK.

You will have good working knowledge of high voltage switchgear, transformers and associated equipment of 132kV or above and also have the ability and proven experience to manage a team of technicians in the repair and maintenance of high voltage substation equipment for such clients as National Grid and DNOs (Distribution Network Operators) nationwide.

Responsibilities of the role include
* Leading, managing and developing the HV Service personnel.
* Responsibility for the profit and loss of the HV Service Business Stream.
* Provide Technical support for the team and customers.
* Maximise the scope of the existing HV service portfolio >132kV.
* Provide technical input into the tendering process.
* Plan and drive the overall growth of the company volume within Substation Service by increasing the company portfolio as well as new business opportunities (measured by contract performance).

It is essential to have these skills and qualifications to be considered for this role:
* HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering (Power Based)
* Health and Safety Training (IOSH or other recognised course).
* Working knowledge of High Voltage Commissioning.
* Good Switchgear product knowledge.
* Strong background in the power sector.
* Good Project Management skills.
* Eligible to live and work in the UK

The successful HV Service Manager will be rewarded with an attractive salary of up to £45,000 depending on experience plus car.
