One of the UKs leading design consultancies, operating across a range of industry sectors is looking for and innovative Tunnel Ventilation Engineer to be based in Surrey. This is your chance to work on prestigious Civil Engineering projects both in the UK and overseas.

You will be expected to undertake 1D – 3D modelling in relation to airflows and temperatures and (Subway Environment Simulation) SES as well as other industry standard software for a range of prestigious tunnelling projects in the UK and World-wide.

You should have a good academic background with a science, mathematics or engineering bachelors or master’s degree (or equivalent) and have good experience in the use of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD).

A background in fluid mechanics and a strong grounding in applied computing are expected for this position, along with commensurate experience of tunnel ventilation and life safety design gained in Highways, Rail and/or Metro tunnelling schemes.
