An opportunity has arisen for a Lead Civil Engineer to join the largest engineering and design consultancy in the UK with a strong presence worldwide. Based in Surrey, you will join their Water Operations team

You will act as a Lead Civil Engineer on water and wastewater treatment, collection, storage, pipeline and pumping schemes and will supervise a team of Technicians and Graduate Engineers in the production feasibility studies, detail designs and construction drawings, specifications and technical reports.

To be considered, you possess relevant experience in the water industry on a range of network and treatment schemes at close to or Chartered Engineer level. You also have past experience and proven competence in the supervision of a small team of Technicians and Engineers.

You will be sufficiently experienced to direct, guide and develop subordinate Technicians / Engineers on a range of different client design standards and drawing practices applicable to all types of water infrastructure and treatment.

If you possess an inquisitive mind with the ability to make sound technical decisions and manage / coordinate difficult assignments and problematic projects, have the ability to realistically estimate work effort required to accomplish project tasks and are technically highly competent we would like to talk to you.
