A distinguished organisation who undertakes civil engineering consultancy and design on Network Rail, London Underground and light rail networks are looking to take a Technical Director able to take on the leadership responsibilities of a number of the UK's highest profile railway engineering projects.

As the appointed Technical Director you will be handling a multitude of complex Railway related civil engineering design projects across the UK. You will be expected to express your high level of technical capability proven by your experience within the Rail industry.

As the Technical Director you will be a proven and strong interface with exceptional client and stakeholder management experience, possessing a successful track record within railway engineering design projects, handling design fees in millions pounds and will be competent with GRIP stages.

You will be targeted to undertake projects from feasibility through to detailed design and construction management. You will be leading teams of engineers who are skilled in the design of permanent way (trackform and alignment), bridges and tunnels, passenger stations, freight terminals, maintenance and support facilities, and embankments and cuttings.
