The Role

The role of Project Engineer will see you play a lead role in providing technical excellence on various projects supporting the delivery of medium to large signalling schemes. You will attend regular technical meetings and be responsible for briefing project staff and sub-contractors on any technical changes.

Using your engineering background, you will work closely with client and sub-contractors in the resolution of any technical issues as well as ensuring that that project is technically compliant. Working with yellow book engineering principals, you will carry out technical audits and engineering reviews accompanied with the development of the project engineering team.

Requirements

The position of Project Engineer would suit a proven Graduate Engineer or Assistant Project Engineer with experience in the signalling arena who are looking to make their next career move.

Applicants will also need to demonstrate the following:
 
*A background in signalling engineering (Installation, Test or Design)
*An understanding of all different interfaces
*Strong communications skills
*Happy to work on projects UK wide
