One of the world’s largest design and engineering consultancies are seeking a high calibre Principal Building Services Engineer to join their team in Coventry. The organisation are specialists in a number of market sectors and work across a number of key market sectors including Biotechnology, Industrial and Chemical, Energy and waste, Food and Consumer products, Pharmaceutical and Engineering.

Your main purpose as Principal Building Services Engineer will be to provide technical design input and building services expertise in the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, and other process related industries.

You will manage the full range of professional building services activities requiring a high degree of technical judgment and resourcefulness in the planning; design and construction of projects in terms of equipment, functional requirements, room layout and facility costs.

The successful Principal Building Services Engineer must be Chartered with Practical understanding of the implications of cGMP and validation requirements and in-depth knowledge of cleanroom construction.

You also have good knowledge of specialist testing and commissioning requirements along with good knowledge of process mechanical utilities including clean steam, purified water , and medical gases.

You will be also to analyse and identify building services elements of design for conformance with applicable regulatory standards, policies, and codes of practice
