Our client are a specialist consultancy organisation operating within the UK Aerospace sector. Due to continued growth and an increasing order book a need has arisen to bring into the team a Software Engineer on a contract basis working from a location in the South West.

Educated to Degree or equivalent level and with a proven background within highly regulated industries (ideally Aerospace, though Defence or Rail may also be considered) you will be responsible for creating software test case specifications against software requirements specifications (high level requirements testing).

You will manage traceability of test cases against software requirements and developing Software Test Procedures using Python Performance and reviewing software acceptance test cases. You should be able to demonstrate a background of working to DO-178B.

The successful Software Engineer will receive a competitive pay rate of up to £30 per hour.
