It’s just two weeks until the team from Resourcing Solutions tackles the Three Peaks Challenge by Rail to raise vital funds for Railway Children.
The team has set themselves the challenge to conquer the three highest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales in under two days.
The endurance challenge will begin on Thursday 19 June and involve the group scaling Ben Nevis (1134m), Snowdon (1085m) and Scafell Pike (978m), estimated to be the equivalent of walking one third of the way up Mount Everest!
All the money raised will go to Railway Children, a charity that fights for vulnerable children who live on the streets.
Richard Lawrance, CEO, said: “Railway Children is our charity of choice at Resourcing Solutions and we are determined to support it by conquering all three peaks.
“The money raised will help fund outreach projects with street children in India, Africa and the UK. The children suffer unimaginable poverty, violence, abuse and neglect. We are doing everything we can to help.
“Our colleagues, friends and families are supporting us and have organised a number of fundraising activities to help us to hit and exceed the £3,500 sponsorship target! We aren’t there yet and would really appreciate anything you feel able to donate so that work can continue to support some of the most vulnerable children in society.”
