Our client is a developer of electrical power system design, analysis, and real-time software solutions. Due to an increase in business they are looking to appoint experienced Technical Sales Engineer to be based in Milton Keynes with excellent salary depending on experience.

You will create, deploy, and manage the technical business development within the UK and be responsible for managing the sales effort within the assigned customer base. The successful candidate will utilise exceptional technical knowledge to recommend product solutions to potential customers while creating new relationships and maintaining current customer relationships.

Job Description
Responsible for achieving the assigned sales and managing sales effort within the customer base.
Make regular sales calls including cold calls to develop relationships and follow up on leads and establish long-term, ongoing repeat relationships
Responsible for development and delivery of product demonstrations
Develop sales and marketing proposals for customers on technical products & services
Responsible for representing the product to customers and at field events such as conferences, seminars, etc.
Maintain up-to-date awareness of activities, industry trends & government regulations
Actively participate in the execution of cross functional activities associated with sales, marketing, and operations necessary in meeting agreed upon business development goals and objectives.
Grow awareness of their software throughout the UK by promoting via training, conducting seminars,

The ideal candidate will have sales experience in high-tech software, or service related industry with proven experience meeting / exceeding sales targets, understanding of customer market dynamics and requirements.

Experience with enterprise software solutions and large, complex organisations
Able to convey customer requirements to Product Management teams
Strong presentation, communication, organization, and time management skills
Must be detail-oriented, self-starter, and works well with a variety of departments in a deadline-driven environment
