What we did
We worked with our client on an exclusive basis fulfilling urgent sourcing and mobilisation hires on many key projects across Africa. Given some of the remote locations, Congo (DRC), Uganda and Rwanda, the specific requirements of the projects and the nature of the key ‘hard to find’ skills they required, we had to ensure that the candidates were carefully mapped and thoroughly screened.
Using our wide range of resources, we located suitable international candidates across the world, using a variety of communication methods for interviews. This included face to face, video conferences and via telephone where urgent mobilisation was critical, hence referencing and background checks on candidates were imperative.
On some specific projects, where time allowed and the majority of candidates were UK based, we provided interviewing facilities at our headquarters in the UK for our client.
Our specialist dedicated resourcing team and account manager worked closely with our client all the way through the appointment, briefings, mobilisation and first few weeks of employment.
To date, Resourcing Solutions has successfully placed over 20 candidates across Africa and continues to support our client with any immediate hires through the utilisation of fully developed and dedicated talent acquisition methods as and when needed by the teams in the region.
We work closely with individuals placed before and after mobilisation to ensure the smooth running of their settling in period and happiness in their new role. Ongoing communication is key to obtaining knowledge of their working environment in order to educate future candidates more accurately.
